Isn't that beautiful?! Peaceful, clear blue water just makes you want to dive in the lake. But we were without our swimsuit so it will be for the next summer.

I think most of the people in their 40's have seen the cowboy TV series, Bonanza, which was partly done in Ponderosa Ranch. Unfortunately the property was recently sold to the government and we could only see what these photos show.

Fannette Island at Emerald Bay with its small stone building where the owner, Mrs. Knight, invited her friends for summer tea.

Tallac Historic Site was a summer retreat for 3 San Francisco socially elite families. All houses are shown with their original furniture so we can have an idea of what it was like.
